HRMS Cross-Platform Option

Overview

  The !Trak-It Cross-Platform option allows !Trak-It HR software to be simultaneously accessed from both Macintosh and Windows computers.  The Windows systems can be Windows 95, Windows 98 Windows NT, and/or Windows 2000. Any number of Macintosh and Windows clients can simultaneously access the server, depending on the capabilities of the server’s hardware and software. Multiple users can simultaneously view the same data record, but only one user can update that particular record at one time. If a second user attempts to update the record when another user is currently updating, a message will appear stating that the record is in use by another user.

Installation

 Server -
The server portion of the system can be installed on a server which both Macintosh and Windows clients can access.

 Windows Client -
Each Windows client must be 486-100 MHz or greater (Pentium preferred) with at least 16MB of RAM.

 Macintosh Client -
Each Macintosh client must be Power PC-100 MHz or higher with at least 16MB of RAM
